Daddy's girl

I love whenever I go out with my dad. One of the best parts is when he introduces me to people and waits a minute and then tells them this is the most important person in my life then he waits another minute and proclaims this is my daughter. He loves doing it and I love it just as much. My dad loves me so much and I love him more than words. We always have a great time and I see where I get my happy spirit from. Actually I get it from both mom and dad... They made a wonderful thing. ;) "It's not what you do for your children but what you have taught them to do for themselves." They taught me to always be happy and I could never be happier than having them both in my life. <3

The road less traveled

Fake it till you make it. I'm going to have kids one day and when they become 21 or so I'll have them read this. Go before others and create the life you envision. Please make the most of everything you are given because those before you have worked so incredibly hard for your inconceivable existence. It's not going to be easy but just know that everything will work itself out. You will be scared and lonely and sad at times. It may seem as if you have nothing. But you have dreams in your heart and passion in your soul that will prevail. Focus on the positives and hold onto all that is good and the days will only get brighter. This is the key to happiness...
I'm doing everything I can to follow my dreams. I know one day it will pay off and be worth it but in the meantime focusing on what is good and working is sometimes all we have. Even if the good is so small you can barely see it. Know it has potential to be something great. Love it with all your heart. And never give up on something.

Grounded

I'm sitting on a grassy knoll besides a tree at the park in Brooklyn and I'm on what I think it's ground and I feel it shake beneath me. It's like it's more alive than any earth I've ever encountered. It's living breathing and appreciated by so many living things and people. I love it here and I don't mind the company. There is no place in the world I'd rather be. Now I'm off to a roommate convention. Wish me luck...

Distance makes the heart grow fonder

Leaving somebody you love by choice is one of the hardest things to do... Especially when you spent every day with them and they are your best friend .You hope they come back in your life at some point but knowing when that is is extremely hard. Especially when you want to keep on living a normal life.

Do you close yourself off emotionally as if nothing's happened... Yet it has. Or do you open yourself to new possibilities.

You want to foster Positive energy for the full potential of the pending relationship. But at the same time you have to also prepare for the event that you move on...

This ultimately weakens the relationship like replanting a tree and leaving it's roots bare and exposed to harm. The tree will survive but it will never be the same.

If you love something let it go and when it comes back you know it's meant to be.

Rewarding experiences

Today I finished installing my first ever green roof! And I got my first greenroof paycheck. And I got a raise!! Everything is working itself out now. I'm staying in Brooklyn with family friends and loving every moment of this opportunity to see them more!

What a wonderful world

Today was such a special Mother's Day and it just kept getting better as the day went on. In the morning I went to the beach with Lena & her friend Jordan  and then afterwards we got breakfast at Booskerdo. After that we gardened with aunt Bonnie and we started the vegetable garden in the pool yard. First we had to dig up everything that had been a volunteer plant and give it a new home! After a day of gardening it was definitely time to shower and get ready for a special night with Mom Mom! We went to Bahrs Landing in the Highlands and had some of the best seafood ever!!! We listen to some great music and had a blast! Best Mother's Day yet!!!
