Live in the moment!

Sometimes things just don't go as planned... These are the challenges in life and it is out job to make the most of what life gives us. We shouldn't expect more or less or wish things were different, we should just live in the moment and accept the life we are given. 

Nature inspires me

I got some amazing flowers from my man... They make me so happy. It's amazing how life's simple pleasures bring us so much joy and inspiration.

The anticipation of what's next is so exciting I feel as if I'm beyond any of it's controll but in all actuality... I create my own destiny. 

Philly's a lot like Brooklyn

My sister and I went to philly today to check out an apartment in my new potential city! It was so beautiful driving over the Walt Whitman bridge into Philly at sunset. 

We drove in with Mike ... He's nice! Except he didn't want to parallel park... So I did! Christina couldn't watch because she is in love with her car.

The neighborhood is adorable and reminded me of a Brooklyn version of Little Italy. 

The apartment was really nice and the room was supercute. My potential roommate Amanda was a sweetheart and really enthusiastic about Philly. The only downside was there is no closet in the bedroom and not much room for a dresser 😁 we'll figure something out! The three of us decided to get some pizza at a restutaunt called Birra! (That's Italian for beer. They had local brews and fresh Italian cuisine... I was in heaven, we all were! 

It was great to go on an adventure with my sister... I really missed her. We had an amazing time together in Philly!

Till next time when we eat a Philly cheesesteak from Pats or Gino's... We shall see 

Kings of Leon in Philly

WhaWhat an amazing concert we got to go to this week in Philly at the Wells Fargo center! (Right next to the Navy Yard) 

"It's another Nacho Vision Miracle" Connor and I said into the camera as they handed us tickets to be in the front pit!!! Best concert experience ever :) ! 

This was the third time I got to see them live and they just keep getting better. Such a great experience and I was glad I got to spend it with such a great man! 

Here's to more great times in Philly! <3

Valentines Day is more than just Chocolate!

I had a lovely morning with Marly and we got to catch up and talk about all of our current life events.  I really missed having such a great friend in my life and really appreciated having this time again with her. We were remembering being together last Valentines day and excited for the new adventures this one would bring. 

I got to see my favorite cousin Lena right as she got home from school.  I gave her a tulip with a pink bow around it and I got her a pair of pink knee high socks ( I had matching ones on of course.)  Luckily my dress for this evening got delivered just in time. We had some chocolates and fresh mango before she had to leave for SAT class and I went off to develop my 6 rolls of film finally.   

On my way home I picked up some last minute valentines day goodies at Whole Foods... some Pizza dough and sauce for my hot date tonight. ooh and how could we forget some Beer and brownies to go along. 
Tröegs and some Carton Boat Beer... it is the best kissing beer out there! 
       

February is for Lovers

February 10th We adventured into Philly for my interview at Urban Outfitters Headquarters.
Diane was so sweet to offer me a ride and her company while I experienced my first serious interview after college! What an amazing "campus" It felt just like home! Home being Pratt, in Brooklyn, NY.

What an amazing way to start off the new year... A ski trip to the Wasatch Mountains in Utah!
We flew to Utah on New Years Day and what an adventure it was.  I had one experience of skiing last year in Vermont at Sugarbush but now was my chance to really experience skiing 100%
